Puppet-making for 'The Night Carnival'

A procession of large-scale puppets made for the Mayor's Thames Festival, a result of a two-week development workshop facilitated by Snuff Puppets, organised by the International Workshop Festival and the Thames Festival, hosted at the Unicorn Theatre.

The Black Cat - a personal prop made for Punchdrunk Production’s Masque of the Red Death at Battersea Arts Centre. The prop was used by an actor as a way of interacting with the audience, as an ongoing confessional diary and as part of a dance/movement piece. August 2007. Based on a short story by Edgar Allan Poe.

Nomadics -A large-scale multi-sensory installation project at the Trinity Buoy Wharf, East London. The installation was made in collaborations with a Emily Orley - an artist/set-designer, Rachel Lehrmar - a poet and Eileen Botsford - a new media artist. Based on geographical and time travel, the installation comprised a number of rooms through which the participants walked in a sequential order. Using sound, smell and touch as well as visuals, the ethereal and ephemeral installation offered an unusual environment where one can get lost and discover objects and words, a physical and psychological journey.

Ghost Watch - A video, sound and sculpture installation commissioned by the Hayward Gallery, based on the Great Fire of London. Ghost Watch was a temporary installation, make as part of Phantasmagoria during the Eyes Lies and Illusions exhibition. Created in collaboration with the artist Emily Orley the poet Rachel Lehrmar.

Stroll - A performative sculpture made in collaboration with Peter Marigold: Two feet are attached by strings to a rotating mechanism. The absent figure is forced into a repetitive walk, slowly pacing in mid-air.

Adapting to Light - Made in collaboration with the composer Lena Langer, this film depicts a homunculus trying to breath in a broken landscape. This was a research based commission, for which six film-makers and composers were asked to respond to issues around embryology and genetics. The film was screened at the Institute of Child Health, London, and accompanied by live music.
Snout Project - A Research and Development project exploring the uses of smell in installations and performances at Chisenhale Dance Space.

Heavy Words Lightly Thrown - A commission for a collaborative illustration book about the origins of nursery rhymes, written by Chris Roberts.

The images are based on mythological birds that carry the soul to the afterlife.
